As the father of two adult children with disabilities Skip learned the power of parent involvement in the growth of his children. During the past 25 years he has been an active participant in his children’s education and social development. This includes becoming one of the founding members of the first school for children with Autism. The Autism Behavioral Center, palm Beach Gardens, Florida, started in 1995 by 4 families, was the first classroom environment for children with Autism based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
In addition, he founded a not for profit school called The Autism Behavioral center that he operated from 2011 to 2004 in Boca Raton, Florida. This school provided a quality applied behavioral education for 10 students.
