WHAT IS

Delicious Spoonfuls, is a nonprofit organization empowering and expanding the lives of people with Special Needs/Disabilities through training and employment. We bring our mobile ice cream cart to events of others and events we create in the area of South Florida.
We bring purpose to the lives of some of the people with Down Syndrome, Autism and mental illness that would otherwise be sitting on the couch watching TV and videos all day.
What sets Delicious Spoonfuls apart is their commitment to inclusivity. Employees work part-time, ensuring that they don’t risk losing Social Security benefits, including health insurance—critical for people with disabilities. Additionally, they train typical high schoolers to work alongside their peers with disabilities, creating a more inclusive work environment.
